New in the technical centre: Smallest components now with the Boy XS
Impetus Plastics Engineering has recently been able to meet the demand of its customers for the production of very small components. With the new Boy XS with a clamping force of 10 t, the previous clamping force range in our technical centre of 50 to 150 t is excellently complemented by the production possibilities for micro and smallest components. The Boy XS injection moulding machine is equipped with a master moulding form system, enabling us to produce new components quickly and cost-effectively.
Injection moulded components from original material: Impetus Plastics Engineering has been producing prototypes and small series in the company’s own technical centre in Bad Aibling for almost two years now. We have specialised in the production of plastic components from original material in steel moulds in order to achieve a very high level of similarity to series production – even for prototypes. In addition, our customers benefit from injection moulding machines that are not permanently integrated into ongoing production processes and are thus available for many tasks, such as sampling, prototypes or small series – even at short notice.
Always simulation-tested: A simulation-tested safeguarding of component and process is a self-evident fact at Impetus. In this way, the transition from development to series production can be secured and accelerated in the best possible way.
Simulation & practice for quality and speed: The aim of our actions is always to develop a good product quickly and economically for our customers. Simulation is an important tool for this, just as trial and testing are. Simulations are often faster and more cost-effective and have their strengths in variations and optimisations. Trials and prototypes provide the necessary data and serve as a check before the start of series production. If simulation and testing are interlinked in the right project step, the optimum in quality and speed is achieved in product development.
