We develop, manufacture and assemble sophisticated complete devices from plastic, metal and cable electronic assemblies. New device developments require experienced experts from these different fields who work together perfectly, are committed to turning good ideas into concrete solutions and always keep an eye on product costs.

System development and production from a single source

Precisely the interdisciplinary expertise required for this is bundled at IMPETUS and Nicolay. Impetus has been successfully developing complex plastic assemblies and devices for more than 20 years, Nicolay has been manufacturing cable connector systems for over 50 years and is a specialist in assembly with integrated electronic components. The production of plastic and metal components is also part of our in-house service spectrum within the group. We use state-of-the-art “tools” in all phases of device development – the latest CAD techniques and advanced simulation software and proven manufacturing technologies.

Taking over project planning and project management

It goes without saying that we take over the complete project planning and coordinate the necessary development and implementation steps. This includes the construction of complete prototypes for functional testing and coordinated tests in our test laboratories in the run-up to series production.

Certification and support according to ISO 13485

DIN EN ISO 13485 is the globally recognised standard for quality management for medical device manufacturers, their suppliers and service providers. Both Impetus and Nicolay are certified according to ISO 13485 in order to best serve customers in the medical technology sector. With our experience gained from a large number of projects, we build up the necessary processes for you in a targeted manner in order to comply with standard-compliant QM documentation.
