GOM - ZEISS INSPECT Optical 3D at Impetus
Your partner for precise quality assurance and warpage optimisation in plastics processing
You can rely on IMPETUS’ many years of expertise in optical measurement technology. With the GOM ATOS Q scanner from Zeiss, we use state-of-the-art technology to analyse wrapage in a targeted manner and make your quality control efficient and reliable.
How it works: Fringe projection and stereo camera technology
The ATOS Q works with innovative fringe projection technology. The scanner projects a stripe pattern onto the surface of the object to be measured. The reflection of this pattern is captured by two stereo cameras. With the help of reference points, which are either placed in the measuring environment or directly on the component, the scanner calculates a precise three-dimensional model of the object from the camera images.
Advantages of optical measurement technology
- Gentle measurement: Non-contact detection protects your components
- Time-saving: Fast scan data acquisition for efficient processes
- Precise results: Detailed and accurate measurement data for reliable analyses
Flexible measuring ranges for different requirements
The ATOS Q is available with different measuring volumes to optimally adapt to the measuring task. IMPETUS currently uses two sizes that are ideal for small and medium-sized components:
- MV100 (100 x 70 x 60 mm): Measuring accuracy: shape: 0.003 mm, size: 0.006 mm
- MV270 (270 x 200 x 200 mm): Measuring accuracy: shape: 0.005 mm, size: 0.011 mm
Software for evaluation -ZEISS Inspect: scan, check and report
We analyse and evaluate your scan data comprehensively with the powerful ZEISS Inspect software. Whether target/actual comparisons, visualisation of shape deviations or detailed inspection reports – ZEISS Inspect offers all the options for precise measurement and documentation.
